Vice President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh, has congratulated President Dr. Julius Maada Bio on the successful hosting of the 69th Summit of the Authority of Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), describing the event as a major achievement that has elevated Sierra Leone’s standing within the sub-region and beyond.
The Vice President also praised the people of Sierra Leone for their exceptional hospitality and professionalism, noting that the country’s successful organization of the high-level regional gathering has strengthened its reputation as a reliable destination for major international events.
Throughout the two-day summit held on July 18 and 19, 2026, Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh played a leading role in the Government’s diplomatic and protocol engagements on behalf of President Bio, overseeing the reception of Heads of State, senior Government officials and regional delegates from their arrival in Sierra Leone through to their departure following the conclusion of the summit.
