RCBank Completes Migration of Former UTB Accounts, Issues New Banking Details

Rokel Commercial Bank (RCBank) has announced important changes affecting former Union Trust Bank (UTB) customers following their successful onboarding onto the RCB banking system.

In a press release dated Sunday, August 31, 2026, the Management of Rokel Commercial Bank informed customers that all former UTB account numbers have been migrated to new RCB account numbers as part of the ongoing integration process.

The Bank advised affected customers to visit their nearest RCB branch or contact its Customer Care Centre to obtain their new account details and other relevant information relating to the transition.

According to the Bank, the change in account numbers is an important component of integrating former UTB customers into RCB’s banking infrastructure and ensuring they have access to services under the RCB system.

RCBank also announced that it will redistribute new RCB-branded cheque books to former UTB customers.

Customers will be notified through SMS or telephone calls regarding when and where they can collect their new cheque books. Those requiring urgent cheque transactions have been advised to visit an RCB branch with a valid means of identification for assistance.

The Bank acknowledged that the transition could cause some inconvenience to customers and appealed for patience and cooperation while the integration process continues.

“We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and cooperation during this transition,” the Bank stated.

RCBank further reaffirmed its commitment to providing secure, reliable and improved banking services to customers as it works to ensure a smooth transition for former UTB account holders.

For customers requiring further assistance, the Bank said its branches nationwide remain available to address concerns and provide clarification on the new account numbers and cheque books.

Customers can also contact RCB Customer Care through +232 76623128, +232 76188700 or +232 78507745, while former UTB customers can seek assistance through +232 76698066 or +232 78847992. The Bank’s toll-free line is 2527/940.

The latest announcement represents another significant stage in RCB’s integration of former Union Trust Bank customers, with the Bank placing emphasis on ensuring that affected account holders receive the necessary information and support to continue conducting their banking transactions without unnecessary disruption.

RCBank has therefore encouraged all former UTB customers to take note of the changes, obtain their new account details and pay attention to official SMS or telephone notifications concerning the collection of their new RCB-branded cheque books.
