Ahead of 2026/2027 Season… Amb. Anthony Junior Navo Turns Vision into Reality as East End Lions Gets New Standard Pitch

East End Lions Football Club has completed the construction of a new artificial-turf football pitch at the Trade Centre under the leadership of its Executive Chairman, Ambassador Anthony Junior Navo, marking another major investment in the development of the club and football infrastructure in Sierra Leone.

The newly completed facility, which is now ready for use, is expected to serve as the home venue for East End Lions, popularly known as the “Killers,” throughout the 2026/2027 football season, scheduled to kick off on 10 October 2026.

The completion of the pitch represents a significant milestone for the club and demonstrates Ambassador Anthony Junior Navo’s commitment to providing improved facilities for players while supporting the broader development of football in Sierra Leone.

For East End Lions, the investment goes beyond the construction of a football pitch. It reflects a long-term vision aimed at strengthening the club’s infrastructure and creating an environment where players can train and compete on a quality playing surface.

Abdulai Kargbo also welcomed the development, describing Ambassador Anthony Junior Navo’s leadership as synonymous with progress.
