It has emerged last night that the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) at the Lumley Police Division, West of Freetown have declared Abdulai Momoh Conteh of No: 6 Crap Town wanted for practicing gay contrary to the laws of the land.
Abdulai was allegedly caught red-handed making love with his male friend back of the community hall where a show took place, contrary to the country’s customs, national and religious laws.
According to police detective ASP Mustapha Sesay, they received an official report from a neighbor about Abdulai’s conduct which he noted contravenes the laws of the country.
The Crime buster said an invitation was sent to Abdulai to report to the Station but refused.
This he said prompted them to issue an arrest warrant for him and his male friend.
He emphasized that it is completely unlawful for anybody to practice gay or lesbianism in the country.
He pointed out that anyone arrested and charged to court for gay-related activities and found guilty will face life imprisonment with hard labor.
“According to the report, Abdulai has been warned several times by his parents to stop this habit but refused to adhere stressing that it is fundamental human rights to do what he feels,” ASP Sesay told this medium.
He said one day, the youths of Lumley had a social gathering on Saturday night December 28th, 2020.
“While people were busy enjoying, Abdulai was busy making love, kissing, and romancing with his male friend back of the community hall where the show was taking place,” ASP Sesay said. He said the youths attacked both of them and seriously manhandled them. He said some elders decided to rush Abdulai to a nearby hospital for urgent medical attention while others come to the police station to make an official report.
He said a team of officers were dispatched to the said hospital to arrest Abdulai but could not meet them there again.
An invitation was extended to the two suspects but did not respond and so we have to issue a warrant of arrest for Abdulai and his accomplishments.
Meanwhile, since Abdulai escaped to an unknown destination, nobody knows his whereabouts.
