Africell, Sierra Leone’s leading telecommunications company, continues to delight its subscribers with exciting prizes in its mega promotion aimed at giving back to society. The company, on Wednesday 11th October, 2023, presented a brand new TVS motorbike to a lucky subscriber at their headquarters in Wilberforce, Freetown.
The 10thTVS motorbike was won by a 90th year old Nel Solomon Beckley but due to his health condition the brand new TVS motorbike was presented to Peter Beckley who happens to be his son.
The ongoing promotion, which commenced on July 31, 2023 and is set to conclude in January 2024, has captured the imagination of subscribers across the nation.
Abdul Aziz Kamara, Africell’s Media Manager, said the promotion, which is expected to last for 6 months, features as prizes to be won, 6 brand new cars, 24 TVS Motorbikes and thousands of other cash prizes amounting to more than 5 billion Leones.
He said that already 2 brand new cars and 10 TVS motor bikes have already be won by subscribers but, however, emphasized that Africell’s commitment to its subscribers’ well-being is evident through initiatives like this promotion and excitedly announced that there are more prizes to be won including 4 brand new cars and 14 TVS motorbikes among a wide array of prizes to be won.
Abdul Aziz Kamara further explained that Africell is not only focusing on delivering top-notch mobile services but also on creating innovative promotions that allow subscribers to become car owners and win other attractive prizes. He encouraged all subscribers to continue recharging, assuring them that more opportunities await them.
On his part, Abdulai Jalloh, one of the officials of Africell Sierra Leone, said the mode of qualification is for non-subscribers to join the Africell family or to secure an Africell SIM. As for those that already have Africell SIM cards they just need to recharge via Afrimoney or voucher a minimum of 10 Leones and that will automatically give them one chance, adding that the more subscribers recharge the more chances they will get.
He also revealed that from Monday to Saturday they will have daily draws for 10 cash prize winners, weekly draws for 1 motorbike and monthly draws for 1 brand new car.
Receiving the brand new TVS motorbike, on behalf of Nel Solomon Beckley, Peter Beckley expressed appreciation to Africell Sierra Leone for the launch of the promotion.
He said that his father has been using an Africell Sim Card for a very long time but has never won any prize from the company adding that when his father was called and informed that he has won a brand new TVS motor bike from Africell he was very joyful.
Peter Beckley called on others to top up on their Africell Sim Cards so that they can also stand a chance to win.
Closing the ceremony was the handing over of the documents and key of the TVS motorbike to Peter Beckley by Abdul Aziz Kamara, Africell’s Media Manager.
