Bread For The World President & Team Assess Implemented Projects in Sierra Leone

The President of Bread for the World Dr. Dagmar Pruin is on an eight day working visit to Bread for the World funded partner organizations in Sierra Leone. Dr. Dagmar Pruin is accompanied by Ms. Petra Berner (Director of International Programs) Dr. Uta Bracken (Director of Africa 1) and Mr Christoph Puschner (Photographer).

The purpose of the visit is to meet with heads of Bread for the World partner organizations and see on-going projects to have a first-hand feel in certain areas of implementations and also meet with some beneficiaries.

On Tuesday 4th January, 2022 Dr. Dagmar Pruin and her entourage had a meeting with the Sierra Leone Adult Education Association (SLADEA) at the BftW/SLADEA Covid-19 Consortium Project Office at 29 Jones Street in Freetown.

SLADEA Secretariat Staff, Small Project Fund Staff and the Covid-19 Consortium Project staff were present in that meeting.

Aminata Turay and Mohamed Zombo (Project Officer and Monitoring and Evaluation Officer respectively) did the presentation on behalf of Small Project Fund. Daniel Fullah, Project Manager of BftW/SLADEA Covid-19 Consortium Project did a presentation on the Covid-19 Consortium Project. Abdulai Kabba and Sallieu S. Sillah, (Project Coordinator and Project Officer respectively) presented on Strengthening the Capacity of Land Users/Owners through Basic Education, Negotiation, Conservation and Afforestation Skills Project.

Mohamed Alarini Bah (Documentation Officer) did a presentation on the success stories of SLADEA.

After each presentation a question and answer session was held to help Dr. Dagmar Pruin and her delegation to understand every bit of the presentations.
