This call for expression of interest falls under the EU-funded project of “Increasing Sierra Leone’s competitiveness through enhanced productivity and trade compliance in selected value chains”, Sierra Leonean Component of the West Africa Competitiveness Programme (WACOMP). This initiative aims toextend support to smallholders, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and/or agricultural cooperatives, which work primarily (but not exclusively) in the cocoa, palm oil and/or cassava value chains within Sierra Leone.
The objective of this initiative is to facilitate the acquisition of equipment and/or adequation of premises in order to enhance productivity, quality compliance, or in order to comply with national or international technical/hygiene regulations and/or standards, for selected number* of beneficiaries for up to EUR 9,000 per entity.
