The leading private sector health service provider in the country which always stands ready with humanitarian relief, Choithram Memorial Hospital on Hill Station in the West End of Freetown, on Saturday, November 6th, 2021 generously donated assorted medicines and consumables to the Management of Connaught Hospital.
The donation is meant to help in the treatment of victims of Friday night’s fire accident in which a very high number of patients with severe burns were admitted at Connaught Hospital which ran short of essential drugs to treat patients.
The medicines and consumables donated were donated at the request of the Connaught hospital. Choithram was the first to donate to the Government in time of need.
Also, 6 patients have been admitted at Choithram Memorial Hospital. Their treatment of all will be free of cost.
Choithram Memorial Hospital wishes the souls of the departed perfect peace and prays for a speedy recovery of those injured and hospitalized.
Founded in 1993, Choithram Memorial Hospital endeavors to provide comprehensive medicare to the residents of Sierra Leone.
Choithram Memorial Hospital employs over 200 medical personnel & support staff. It comprises of the outpatient and inpatient units, operating rooms, critical care units and peripheral units of the hospital.
Choithram Hospital stands on the humanitarian foundation of serving the poor people of Sierra Leone as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility.
It offers assisted medical services to patients that cannot afford the payment.
It also, at free of cost, brings in annually specialist medical teams from India, the UK, and Germany to perform surgeries and other critical medical procedures that are not widely available in the country and very expensive to perform overseas.
