Iconic TV Presenter Stella Bangura Returns with Third Season of “On The Spot With Stella”

Stella Bangura, a former beauty queen and renowned media, communication and branding professional, has announced her comeback with the third season of her popular talk show, “On The Spot With Stella.” This announcement follows months of anticipation and headlines in major Sierra Leonean newspapers. The iconic TV presenter is collaborating with local broadcasters, marking a significant return to the screens after a break of over two years.

In a social media post, Stella Bangura revealed her partnerships with major media houses including the Sierra Leone Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC), Star Television and SLIK TV, among others. These collaborations will bring the third season of “On The Spot With Stella” to local audiences. The new season, which includes 26 to 27 episodes, will feature content from the UAE, France, Belgium and Sierra Leone.

“Viewers should expect our usual high-quality, engaging and timeless content that sets us apart,” Stella Bangura said during an interview. She disclosed that the second season ended in late 2021 and she has since been off the screen. During her break, she focused on developing her talk show and business activities, pursued a Master’s program and frequently appeared on the BBC’s “Business Matters,” where she offered a Sierra Leonean perspective on global issues.

“These past two years have been both incredibly busy and fascinating for me,” she shared. “After a much-needed rest, I embarked on pursuing a Master’s program and resumed production for the new season of my talk show.”

The third season of “On The Spot With Stella” is currently airing in Nigeria on TEN URBAN TV Channel 135 on Startimes and NIGEZIE XTREME on Startimes Channel 427.

Stella Bangura is the founder and CEO of On the Spot Limited, a media entity providing communications, branding and media production services. She is the Executive Producer and host of “On the Spot with Stella,” and previously co-hosted the weekly morning TV show “Wake Up Sierra Leone” at the Africa Young Voices Media Empire (AYV) TV, where she also served as the Director of Operations and Director of Administration and Branding for over three years.

With over 10 years of experience in the media, Stella Bangura is a media entrepreneur, multiple award-winning TV presenter, MC, breast cancer awareness advocate and an international ex-beauty queen. She is also a frequent guest on the BBC program “Business Matters.” Her accolades include the National Entertainment Awards (NEA) for Best Female TV Personality of the Year, 50 Most Influential Sierra Leonean Women Award, Confederation of West African Youths Award for TV Personality of the Year and numerous others.
