Dennis Foray Bundu, better known by his stage name MDG or “Menace Da General” and “My Dearest Gift,” is a multifaceted artist making waves across the globe. Born in Freetown, Sierra Leone, MDG moved to the United States in the early 2000s, where his talents as a rapper, singer and songwriter began to flourish. With a unique blend of Afrobeat, Krio and English, MDG has captivated audiences with his infectious music and vibrant personality.
Now based in the DMV (D.C., Maryland, Virginia) area, MDG’s influence in the music scene continues to grow as Afrobeat becomes a dominant genre worldwide. His passion for creativity extends beyond music, as he is also an accomplished fine artist. His paintings, as colorful and energetic as his music, reflect his dynamic spirit and creative range.
In addition to his music career, MDG has ventured into the world of fashion with his clothing brand, Formulla. More than just a brand, Formulla is a motivational movement encouraging others to pursue their passions, dream big and never give up. MDG’s “Formulla for success” combines passion, courage and hard work; values that he lives by and inspires others to embody.
