During the proceedings, Commissioner Kargbo was nominated for the position of Deputy Chairman of APPA and received unanimous endorsement from member parties after facing no opposition.

His election was formally confirmed by the Chair of the meeting, with delegates describing the outcome as a reflection of the confidence political parties have in his leadership abilities and commitment to fostering dialogue among political stakeholders.

In his acceptance speech, Commissioner Kargbo expressed appreciation to the member parties for the trust and confidence placed in him. He pledged to serve the Association with integrity, fairness, transparency, and dedication while promoting collaboration among all political parties.
