One of the exemplary figures within the Petroleum landscape in this country in the person of the current Chief Executive Officer of the National Petroleum Sierra Leone Limited (NP-SL Ltd), Kobi Walker, has been highly honored by the Institute of Petroleum and Management (IPeM) College.
Ambassador Alex Bangura (PhD), who is the SBP for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 4, Initiator of the Conference on Education (EDUCON) and Chief Executive Officer of the Institute of Petroleum and Management (IPeM) College revealed on the 20th September, 2021, that the Chief Executive Officer of the National Petroleum- Sierra Leone Limited (NP-SL Ltd) Limited, Kobi Walker, has been appointed as Goodwill Ambassador for the implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4. Just in few minutes when the information was relayed barrage of congratulatory commendations started pouring in from different parts of the globe with many maintaining that indeed he truly deserves it.
According to the awarding entity, Kobi Walker, should now be identified and honored by the media, organizations/institutions, and everyone with the designated title: Ambassador Kobi Walker.
Further stated was that Kobi Walker will also be recognized and awarded by many credible international and professional bodies.
Commenting on his appointment, Ambassador Kobi Walker, Chief Executive Officer of the National Petroleum- Sierra Leone Limited (NP-SL Ltd) Limited expressed appreciation to the Institute of Petroleum and Management (IPeM) for recognizing his efforts in contributing nation building .
He said he is determined to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all and also ensure that best practices prevail within the education sector.
