Winning $ 50M Road Contract in The Gambia… PAVI FORT Goes International

Renowned road Construction Company, Pavi Fort-Al Associates (SL) Ltd Road Construction Company, registered in Sierra Leone, are pleased to announce that the company is one of two sub-regional road construction companies awarded a USD50 million urban 50km roads contract in The Gambia.

The project which is funded by Saudi Organization for Islamic Cooperation (OIC) is to be completed and delivered in fourteen months. With the Government of The Gambia demanding fast track delivery, civil works for the roads which will have street lights, drainages and footpaths started immediately.

Pavi Fort and CSE, the two companies that won the contract promised to deliver on time with high quality guaranteed. The urban roads will reduce traffic volume and cut travel time by half.

The Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of Pavi Fort-Al Associates (SL) Ltd Construction Company, Alimu Sanu Barrie, in an exclusive interview with this medium disclosed that in line with The Gambian Government’s directive, his company partnered with a local company, Hub, to successfully bid for the contract which was signed on the 21st September, 2021. On the company’s vision of reconstructing West Africa, he disclosed that establishing a flourishing operation of the company in the ECOWAS sub-region is effectively in progress, with business activities currently going on in Sierra Leone, The Gambia and Guinea.

The company, he added, is also fully registered in Liberia and Ghana and will continue to explore investment opportunities in the region

Sourcing for alternative avenues for basalt for The Gambian market began in July 2021. Pavi Fort-Al Associates (SL) Ltd shipped the first consignment of basalt to The Gambia which is good news for builders, contractors, etc.

He furthered that there are Sierra Leoneans who are benefitting through employment adding that through his company the country stands to gain immensely from the foreign currency that it brings.

The creation of this company has been a great idea, I had the opportunity to visit the offices accompanied by Jossua, in Sierra Leone, and I thought that this company would go very far, I wish them a good future.

I really need your help ‘Pavi Fort- Al Group’ 👏.
I have been on 6months training on excavator operation, both theoritical and practical since January this year.
But by May next month I’ll need a help from your company where I could do my ‘On Job Training’, (OJT).
I have gotten my license already.
