Alhaji Musa Tarawally, the erudite political figure cum business magnate has embarked on the implementation of what he refers to as Agenda 2028 which is geared towards maintaining unity and solidarity within the rank and file of the SLPP ahead of 2028.
Known as a valiant party supporter and strategic fighter for SLPP, he is regarded as a renowned politically savvy tactician with a deep understanding of party and national politics. His tacit support to the now President of Sierra Leone, Rtd Brigadier Julius Maada Bio in achieving his political ambitions in 2018 and 2023, to many is a testimony of his loyalty and commitment to see and ensure that the SLPP succeeds in its future political bids.
It goes without saying that Alhaji Musa Tarawally is an unadulterated believer in the doctrines and values of SLPP seeing the party as the most potent vehicle for sustained peace, progress and development in the country.
Very adept to the invaluable role of the grassroots and other structures of the party, he is at a strategically vantage position to make meaningful contributions to keep the party in power as he is aware and very conscious of the ever present problems of frustration and disillusionment that the grassroots of the party is faced with over jobs and opportunities.
He is mindful of the fact that the Government cannot provide jobs for every party member but he is equally of the belief that there is need for continued support for President Bio’s Agenda in order to accelerate development and usher in a new era of transformation through which lives will be touched and the well being of majority of the party supporters will be enhanced.
According to Alhaji Musa Tarawally, though it may seem difficult for party supporters and members at this material time, he is of the strong conviction that those challenges and difficulties will pass as they are short lived and that the more all come together, as a party, to support the President and defend his delivery the easier it will be for the party in 2028.
Against that backdrop, Alhaji Musa Tarawally’s Agenda 2028 envisages to renew hope in SLPP members across the country, it also wants the structures of the party to engage in propagating the ideals of the party, to facilitate activities that will keep the party energized and prepared for 2028.
Also, Agenda MT 2028, as it is dubbed, is geared towards facilitating opportunities for grassroots party members and through its activities, it wants a party that is united, peaceful and cohesive, even in its diversity
Undoubtedly, Alhaji Musa Tarawally knows and strongly believes that President Bio’s agenda is his agenda and that it is only through collective will that success will be delivered.
A Political Commentator opined how it is timely for the brilliant Agenda propagated by Alhaji Musa Tarawally to embrace and respect those who were sacked from their various jobs to ensure that they continue to support the SLPP party and the Presidency of HE Bio.
He also maintains that those currently employed in various political jobs to be focused on delivering His Excellency’s big 5 Agenda, rather than engaging in undercover networking for leadership positions in the party.
