Claudia Josephine Suma is a final year student of the College of Tourism and Travel Studies where she is pursuing a Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management. She is one of Sierra Leone’s most outstanding and award winning beauty contestants who will be representing Sierra Leone at the Miss Philanthropy Queen Pageant 2019, an event that aims at celebrating the beauty of African Women. Claudia Josephine Suma is currently poised to fly the country’s flag high at the Beauty Pageant slated to take place in December, 2019 in Abuja, Nigeria.
Speaking to this medium, Claudia Josephine Suma disclosed that she is determined to win an upcoming Pageant come December adding how she doesn’t only want to emerge victorious in the competition but to ensure that the flag of Sierra Leone is flown high.
She added that since childhood, reading, modeling, giving charity to less privileged children, delivering motivational talks that will invoke inspiration in order for others to believe in themselves have all been her passion.
She assured Sierra Leoneans that after winning the Pageant her project will be based on empowering women and girls for them to become change markers in society through entrepreneurship, skills training and mentorship. She further appealed for support from Sierra Leoneans at home and abroad to see her emerge as the winner in the upcoming competition.
Sarah .V. Koroma, her Manager, disclosed that Claudia Josephine Suma will be locking horns with other contestants across Africa for the prestigious Miss Philanthropy Queen Pageant 2019 also expressing optimism that her contestant, whom she is grooming, would emerge victorious and also urged Sierra Leoneans to support their own morally and financially.
She concluded by calling on humanitarian organizations and individuals to support her contestant in order to capacitate them fully to attend the said event.
