Zion Mission International Church Celebrates Major Success

During Thanksgiving Ceremony…

During the annual thanksgiving ceremony held on Sunday 12th February, 2023, at Mayemi Police Barrack Western Rural District, the Founder and Proprietor of Zion Community Primary School and Zion Mission International Church, Rev Dr. John Matthew Senesie  expressed appreciation to the Government of Sierra Leone for the approval of the Zion Community Primary School early this year.

He said that as a result of this they are very happy to celebrate a huge milestone and success of the school.

Rev Dr. John Matthew Senesie disclosed that the mission, which started far back in 1998, as a result of the frequent accidents that occur in which school going children are the victims, especially at Mayemi Community he thought of establishing a school within the community to curtail on those tragic incidents.

He informed that there are plans to establish a secondary school further disclosing that his purpose of establishing a school is to help the community residents who send their kids to far-off distances to learn, and more so being an agent of the President’s Free and Quality Education agenda.
The school, he said, has been doing excellently and delivering well.

The Founder continued that in terms of excellence, the Zion School is the best and has produced quality results and students over the past years disclosing that today some are doctors, lawyers and more, a legacy he said children at the school has lived up to.

He concluded that the mission had existed way back in 1998 and the school opened in 2006 with both Nursery and Primary adding that plans are underway for the future for a secondary school and a computer learning school for children to be taught how to use and operate a computer for future endeavours.

He urged the Government to be giving the school subsidies which will help to expand its vision and thanked the Inspector General of Police for his support towards the school.

On his part, the General Overseer of Zion Ministries International and Zion Mission School, Rev John Kassim Sidique, said the school has created a huge impact on the lives of the community people and those from far localities.
