Tuma Adama Gento-Kamara Appointed Chairperson of Africa Women Summit (2024-2028)

Tuma Adama Gento-Kamara, the Chairperson of the National Revenue Authority (NRA), as if she is destined to be perpetual Chairperson, has been recently appointed as Chairperson of the Africa Women Summit for the next four years (2024-2028). This announcement was officially communicated in an official letter dated Monday, January 22, 2024, signed by Kalada Belema Meshack-Hart, Convener of the Africa Women Summit.

The charismatic public figure, Tuma Adama Gento-Kamara, recognized for her dedication to women’s empowerment and notable contributions to various initiatives, will succeed Her Excellency, Dr. Jewel Taylor, the immediate past Vice President of Liberia.

In terms of the appointment details , with regards her roles and responsibilities as Chairperson, Gento-Kamara will play a crucial role in providing strategic guidance, fostering collaborations, and inspiring the summit team, partners, and participants.
