Central University on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, hosted an educational seminar organized by Elite Scholars Consultancy Company Limited, aimed at exposing students to international study opportunities and academic pathways abroad. The event took place at the Garden Hall on the Central University campus in Mile 91.
The seminar brought together students from various faculties and departments who gathered to learn about scholarship opportunities, admission procedures and visa application processes for international studies.
Elite Scholars Consultancy Company Limited is an international education advisory firm founded in Europe in 2020 and incorporated in Sierra Leone in 2026. The consultancy operates across Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Germany, the Netherlands, Canada, the United Kingdom, Belgium and other countries.
Speaking during the event, the Administrative Officer of Elite Scholars Consultancy, Kadijatu Ibrahim Jalloh, said the consultancy remains committed to helping students achieve their academic and career aspirations through global education opportunities.
“Our goal is to connect students with world-class educational opportunities and provide them with the guidance needed to successfully navigate the admission and visa application processes,” Kadijatu Ibrahim Jalloh said.
She noted that many talented students fail to pursue their dreams abroad because of limited access to accurate information and professional support. She explained that Elite Scholars Consultancy was established to provide reliable educational advisory services and help students gain access to international institutions and scholarship opportunities.
She encouraged students to remain focused on their studies and begin preparing early for future academic opportunities. She also engaged students in interactive discussions and presentations on higher education opportunities available in different countries around the world.
Central University students were provided with detailed information on studying in countries such as Germany, the Netherlands, Canada, Belgium, the United Kingdom and other destinations known for their advanced educational systems.
In her brief address, the Dean of Students’ Affairs at Central University, Zainab Sallay Koroma, expressed appreciation to Elite Scholars Consultancy for engaging students on opportunities for higher education abroad.
“We are delighted to welcome Elite Scholars Consultancy to Central University. This seminar is important because it exposes our students to opportunities that can transform their academic and professional futures,” Zainab Sallay Koroma said.
She described the initiative as timely and beneficial, especially at a period when many students are seeking opportunities for further studies and career advancement.
The Dean of Students’ Affairs assured students that the consultancy is a legitimate company operating around the globe, including Sierra Leone. She said the consultancy was at Central University to share insights about its operations.
The Regional Coordinator of Elite Scholars Consultancy, Ibrahim Mankotta, outlined the consultancy’s activities and operations in Sierra Leone. He explained that the organization works closely with educational institutions and international partners to facilitate admissions and provide advisory services to prospective students.
“We are committed to helping students gain access to quality education across the world. Through our partnerships, we support students throughout their journey; from admission applications to visa processing and travel preparations,” Ibrahim Mankotta said.

The seminar also highlighted various scholarship schemes available to international students seeking undergraduate, postgraduate and professional development programmes.

“I have always wanted to study abroad, but I did not know much about the process. Today’s seminar has given me a clearer understanding of the opportunities available and the steps I need to take,” John Lappia said.
He described the session as informative and motivating, noting that it had inspired him to begin planning for his academic future beyond Sierra Leone.
“The information shared today has encouraged me to work harder and explore scholarship opportunities that can help me achieve my educational goals,” he added.
The seminar concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session, during which students received additional guidance on scholarship applications, university admissions and visa requirements.
Many participants described the event as informative and inspiring, expressing hope that similar educational engagements would continue to be organized for students in the future.
