One of Sierra Leone’s leading Telecommunications Companies, Africell Sierra Leone, has dished out the sum of Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand New Leones to the Grand Prize Winner of the Win Kopo Draw, and a sum of Twenty Five Thousand New Leones each, to the two other winners during an event that took place on 19th May, 2023, at the Company’s Headquarters Conference Room at Wilberforce.
Corporate Affairs Manager of Africell, Joe Abass Bangura, intimated that the company has been supporting young people citing Kelvin Doe and several others further revealing how they have given out cars, houses, Two Billion Leones cash prize and several other prizes.
He continued that they have taken Leone Stars out of the country and back with a chartered flight and went on to assure everyone that they as a company will continue to do the good works they are doing.
‘’We will continue changing lives, growing generations and adding value to Sierra Leone. Anywhere you go in the country, you will see the footprint of Africell, be it in infrastructure and other good works.’’ Joe Abass Bangura stated.
Africell’s Media Director,John Konteh, noted that the event marks the end of the 2022-2023 Win Kopo Draw Promotion and the beginning of the 2023-2024 Win Kopo Draw disclosing how the grand prize for the latest promo will be Three Hundred Thousand New Leones.
He maintained that the 2023-2024 Win Kopo Draw will be a daily draw with two winners each day.
The Grand Prize Winner of the Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand New Leones, Abdulai Bah, a driver, expressed his gratitude to God Almighty and the company for winning such a huge sum of money, stating how he was not expecting it.
According to him, he was an apprentice before becoming a driver, and how the van he is presently driving is not his adding that he will ensure that he puts the money in good use.
