By Amin Kef Sesay

In order to take the entertainment industry in Liberia to another level just as Nigeria and Sierra Leone have somehow achieved, plans have now reached an advanced stage to stage the first Brother Reality TV Show in which young Liberians are expected to showcase their innate talents in ways that are to fit into the stipulated criteria that will be set out.

Currently, the Chief Executive Officer of the Big Brother Reality TV Show (Liberia), Hon Karishma Pelham Raad and the Big Brother Liberia Media Partner, CEO Randall Jackson are in Sierra Leone in order to make the necessary contacts with various business entities to see how they could support the show so that it turns out to be truly entertaining and as well beneficial to the participants.

Two prominent entities that Hon. Karishma Pelham Raad and CEO Randall Jackson have so far contacted are Africell-SL and the African Young Voices (AYV). They have held very fruitful discussions with both the Chief Executive Officers of Africell and AYV, Shadi Gerjawi and Ambassador Anthony Navo Jrn respectively. A major aspect of the discussions bordered on getting the TV Reality Show broadcast live on AYV on DStv Channel 399. It was agreed upon at the end of the fruitful talks, meaning that CEO Anthony Navo Jr has break a new ground in having the inaugural Big Brother Liberia Reality TV Show shown for the first time on DStv.

According to the CEO of Big Brother Liberia, Hon Karishma Pelham-Raad the upcoming  Reality TV Show is for all Liberians and Liberians should own it and support it as their own maintaining that she is just a driver to the gateway to deliver to her people and country.

It could be recalled that the African Young Voices (AYV) Television is now linked to DStv, an achievement which came to fruition on the 17th September, 2021 when the launch took place during a well attended and auspicious programme held within the media empire’s amphitheatre.

Worthy of note is the fact that AYV’s coming onboard DStv materialized as a result of the collaboration between the Management of the Media Empire and MultiChoice Africa.  Viewers could now watch AYV programs via DStv Africa Channel 399.

For now, besides Nigeria and Ghana, Sierra Leone has now become the third country in the West African sub-region to attain such a prestigious opportunity to showcase the country’s rich culture and creative talents on the DStv platform with close to 20 million subscribers across the continent.

The Africa Young Voices (AYV) media empire has indeed made history in this country by being the first media outlet in this country that is now linked to DStv Africa. AYV is now live in thirty (30) countries across Africa and there are twenty four countries to be brought abroad. All the West African countries are now connected to view AYV programs apart from Ghana and Nigeria of which plans are underway for them to come on later but categorically it must be stated that other African countries are now on.

In a snap exclusive interview with the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of AYV Media Empire, Anthony Navo Jr, he intimated that his ambition to link Sierra Leone to rest of the world has begun to gain dividend.
