GAT Holds Graduation

By Amin Kef Sesay

The  God’s Agent of Transformation (G.A.T) discipleship and leadership training centre with maxim ‘Knowing Christ and Making Him Known’ has held its second (2nd) graduation ceremony, since its inception in 2019, promising to expand its operations to other districts of the country next year.

The event, which was held past Saturday November 13 at the Ajayi Crowther Amphitheater FBC Campus, witnessed about six hundred and eighty one (679) students passing out in a modest but colourful ceremony, which attracted a large number of personalities from all walks of life.

Out of the 679 graduands,  about 530 graduated as Disciples of Christ and 151 were awarded with Certificates of Leadership, after completing various courses in practical ministry and leadership and what it means to be a true disciple of Christ.

Delivering a goodwill message during the graduation ceremony the Principal  of the God’s Agent of Transformation Bible School, Pst. Francis A. Mambu said the beauty of the Bible school is that it is non-denominational with 12 campuses around Freetown with facilitators and training coordinators from different churches and has students from all walks of life, such as chiefs, police officers, politicians, army officers, wives of pastors and heads of churches, pastors, deacons, church workers, etc.

According to him these graduands would be standing for God in their various professional platforms and bringing transformation by their lives which shine as light for the world. He added that the focus of the training centre is Character transformation which he believes is the only way we can change our nation. “Your greatest certificate is your life,” he averred.

Pastor Francis A. M. Mambu expressed profound confidence in the promised revival by God for Sierra Leone, stating that vision of the Bible school came from God who mandated him to train disciples for the promised revival, which cannot be for just one church, “We are at a crossroad of a crucial visitation of the Lord upon our land and we need to behave ourselves wisely.”

In giving motivational charge to the graduands ,the Principal of G.A.T quoted 2 Timothy 3:1-5 from the Holy Bible saying: “Be the salt of the earth, preach in season and out of season, preach the undiluted word, motivated by the shortness of time and the solemnity of judgement of the world.”

Giving his keynote address the guest speaker Rev. Dr. Shudanke Egujiama Batilo Bajiala Johnson, who is the General Overseer of the New Harvest Ministries, urged all graduands to be vessels of honour unto the Lord as much is expected of them.

The graduands expressed joy giving testimonies of what the Lord has done for them since they enrolled in the Bible Training Centre and how they are now transformed individuals, and territory takers for Jesus. 15 of them were awarded for their outstanding performances.

Each graduand was certified and accepted as worthy to operate as disciples and leaders respectively by the Principal,   Pst. Francis A. M. Mambu.
