In a Press Statement dated 24th August 2022 and put out by the Ministry of Internal Affairs with the caption, “Identification of Corpse by Family Members at the Connaught Hospital Mortuary who Lost their lives during the August 10 Riot” it was stated that further to a release dated 19 August 2022, regarding the identification of corpses of civilians at the Connaught hospital mortuary, who lost their lives during the August 10 insurrection, the Ministry wishes to inform designated family members or relatives to contact the following numbers: 076200088 or 076640812, in order to schedule a date and time for the identification of the said deceased persons.
It also stated that the deadline for the above said identification will be on Monday 29 August 2022, at 5:00p.m maintaining that this latest Press Statement supersedes the earlier release
