Lawyer Rashid Dumbuya Highly Honoured as Most Outstanding FBC Lecturer

 The charismatic, result-oriented, pragmatic and God fearing Barrister and Solicitor at Law, Rashid Dumbuya Esq, has been highly recognized and honoured as a most outstanding Lecturer in the Faculty of Law at Fourah Bay College during the 1st Annual Academic Staff Association (ASA)-  University of Sierra Leone (USL) Awards 2020/21 held at the Amphitheater grounds, Fourah Bay college.

From what this medium understood the award was given in the wake of his almost eight (8) years of relentless and untiring service to the law students at the Faculty of Law, Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone.

Receiving the award, the unassuming law lecturer, who is also the Executive Director of Legal Link, through which he has been proffering plausible solutions to societal ills, political and socio-economic national challenges, in an elated mood said:  “I return all the glory to the Almighty Jehovah and I thank all the other lecturers in the Faculty of La, who have displayed a deep sense of cosmic responsibility in the transformation and advancement of legal education in Sierra Leone.”

He continued by stating that through their concerted efforts, the Law Department has not only gained the status of a Faculty but has also been given approval by Senate to roll out Master of Laws programmes  this year which he maintained is quite revolutionary indeed.

Rashid Dumbuya Esq, informed The Calabash that  he is therefore dedicating the  prestigious award to all lecturers and students in the Faculty of Law FBC, particularly those  students at the LLB1 level for their cooperation and commitment in undertaking great strides towards the development and advancement of the Faculty of Law, Fourah Bay college University of Sierra Leone.

He ended up saying he is grateful to them all and gave Glory to God.
