During the audition ceremony of House of Stars 2023, organized by Kings Empire, an Entertainment Company in the country, Alhaji Hassan Mansaray, affectionately known as “First Klass King Laj”, has been named among golden buzzer winners which has automatically made him a qualified star for the 2023 House of Stars Reality TV Show. This was due to his outstanding performance during the audition.
It must be noted that House of Stars is an ultimate Reality TV show where participants join a Group of Stars in a House where they will compete in various fun, interactive and challenging tasks, on a daily basis and every week. Some participants will be eliminated until the final week of the show, where the top two winners will occupy the first and second positions and take-home various prizes.
Alhaji Hassan Mansaray has become a prominent figure in Sierra Leone due to his remarkable journey from being a University graduate to a successful model and advocate for environmental health and dyslexia awareness. His story is a testament to hard work, determination and a passion for making a positive impact in his community and beyond.
He is a graduate from the University of Sierra Leone, Fourah Bay College, with a major in Sociology. As a proud Muslim and a Mandingo by tribe, he embarked on his modeling career at the age of 15. Since then, he has graced the runway at numerous national modeling events, leaving a mark with each stride.
His modeling journey led him to collaborate with renowned fashion houses, including Madam Wokie, Hudson Martin, Izelia, Mira’s Design, Fashion Insiders, Fashion 1, Bella of the Bella’s, and many more. Through these experiences he honed his craft and learned valuable lessons from industry leaders.
In 2018, Alhaji Hassan Mansaray ventured into pageantry, competing in “The Mr P.Lax Pageant” and emerging victorious, winning a car. His success continued on the international stage as he represented Sierra Leone and secured the title of 2nd Prince at the “Mr University Africa Pageant” held in Nigeria, where he competed against representatives from 49 other African countries in 2019.
In 2021/2022, he clinched the coveted title of “Mister Sierra Leone,” a significant achievement that he cherished deeply.
Beyond his modeling and pageantry accomplishments, Alhaji Hassan Mansaray is deeply passionate about environmental health and advocating for dyslexic children. He believes in raising awareness about dyslexia to empower those affected by this disorder and encourages them to realize their importance in society. He has spearheaded various environmental cleaning projects, including a successful one-week beach cleaning exercise that engaged at least 50 enthusiastic youths, all organized independently.
As he prepares to represent Sierra Leone at the Mister World finals, Alhaji Hassan Mansaray has taken on a new challenge by participating in the Reality TV Show, “House of Stars.” This endeavor serves as an opportunity to connect with Sierra Leoneans at home and abroad, rallying their support to bring the prestigious title home. Notably, he was the first Housemate to receive the golden buzzer during auditions, propelling him into the House.
Alhaji Hassan Mansaray is calling on all “Emperors” to join him on this mission and change the narrative of Reality TV stars.
